Man turns self in after neighbor’s car rammed

RODNEY, Mich. (WOOD) — A Mecosta County man has been arrested after allegedly ramming his car into his neighbor’s vehicle Friday night.

The incident happened in a driveway near 17 Mile Road and 90th Avenue.

According to officials, it started off as a dispute between two neighbors. A victim who was standing in the driveway between both vehicles had to jump out of the way as the suspect’s vehicle began to move forward.

Two additional victims were inside of the car that was hit. One of them tried to get out of the car and was injured, but is expected to be OK.

The suspect then drove off in his damaged vehicle, but it broke down near Evart. Officials said a family member picked him up and drove him to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, where he turned himself in.

The man remained behind bars Saturday morning.
