Motorcyclist killed in Holland Twp. crash ID’d

HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) – The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office has identified the motorcyclist who was killed in a crash in Holland Township Monday morning.

Kenneth Russell, 46, of Holland, was killed when his 2006 Suzuki motorcycle was hit by a Honda Accord driven by 24-year-old Soulyluck Noravong of Holland just after 6 a.m. on James Street near Kamar Drive, according to authorities.

Investigators said Noravong was exiting a service drive behind Metal Flow Corporation, which is located at 11694 James St., when he turned into the path of Russell’s motorcycle, which was headed east on James Street.

Noravong, who was unconscious at the scene, was taken to Holland Community Hospital to be treated for serious injuries. Investigators said it could be several days before they can speak with him.

A spokesperson for Metal Flow Corporation told 24 Hour News 8 neither of the men involved in the wreck were Metal Flow employees.
