Woman robbed and stabbed in BC

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — A woman was robbed and stabbed in Battle Creek Tuesday.

The robbery happened around 12:30 a.m. in the 300 block of Capital Avenue. The woman was stabbed in the arm and had items stolen out of her purse, according to a Battle Creek Police Department news release.

Nearby surveillance video in the area showed the suspect fleeing the scene on foot.

Police were unable to locate the suspect.
