Reward offered in hit-and-run death

COOPERSVILLE, Mich. (WOOD) — A reward is being offered for information connected to the July hit-and-run death of a 24-year-old east of Coopersville.

Travis Ryke died after being hit by a car as he walked along Arthur Street west of 24th Avenue around midnight on July 25. The driver then took off and has not been located.

The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office says it has gotten some tips in the case, but still doesn’t have any solid leads.

Ryke’s family has posted $1,000 as a reward for information that leads to an arrest.
