WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) — A sinkhole that Wyoming neighbors say they complained about for months has been fixed.
The hole, which was more than two feet wide, was near a catch basin grate on 41st Street between Division and Buchanan avenues. Neighbors concerned a child may fall into it told 24 Hour News 8 Tuesday they had been complaining about it since late May or early June.
Fewer than 12 hours after 24 Hour News 8’s story aired Tuesday night, the city sent a crew to fix the problem.
Neighbors said city workers were on their street around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday filling the hole.
