The exhibition was initially set to close Aug. 31, but will instead remain open through Sunday, Sept. 28.

It features 13 pieces by LEGO Certified Professional Adam Reed Tucker. Among the buildings recreated in plastic bricks are the Trump Tower in Chicago, the Empire State Building and the public museum itself.

There is also space for visitors to play and build with LEGOs.
