GVSU retention rate third in state


ALLENDALE, Mich. (WOOD) – Grand Valley State University’s retention rate is the third highest in the state – at 71 percent – just behind the University of Michigan and Michigan State University.

That means three quarters of the students who graduate from GVSU this year will find a job in West Michigan and stay in the state.

However, that wasn’t always the case.
