Jasper is looking for a special home

LAKE ODESSA, Mich. (WOOD) There is an adorable little boy named Jasper who lives at Mackenzie’s Animal Sanctuary, and is looking for his forever home.

The four-year-old cattle dog is gorgeous, but he doesn’t know it, because he’s blind. Jasper needs a home that can give him lots of patient and loving care.

Jasper is a good boy who is treat motivated. He loves his toys and loves to go for walks, but may pull toward other dogs. The folks at Mackenzie’s say he would need lots of small baby steps to learn his new surroundings and home. But he knows his commands of sit, down, and shake, and seems more than willing to learn new things.

If you think Jasper may be the right dog for you, give Mackenzie’s a call at (616) 693-2490 to set up a time to meet him. They’ll even help you set up a home visit. The adoption fee is $150, and they help place animals within 150 miles of Lake Odessa.
