SAN FRANCISCO (WOOD) — Police Thursday released video of a person of interest in the fatal assault of a former West Michigan resident in San Francisco.
Bryan Higgins, 31, was found badly beaten in San Francisco on the morning of Aug. 10, according to Bay Area NBC affiliate KNTV and police. He was later taken off life support and died. Police say the person responsible for the beating will face homicide charges — but that person hasn’t been found.
Thursday, the San Francisco Police Department released dashcam video from a taxi that shows a person of interest in the case.
Higgins used to live in the Kalamazoo area. He moved to San Francisco several years ago, and married Brian Haggerty there in December.
The motive of the assault is not yet known.
