PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A man has been arrested after stabbing three people at a mobile home park in Plainfield Township.

Shane Windisch, 19, has been arrested in connection to the stabbings, jail records indicate.

Michigan State Police records show Windisch was arrested on August 22 and is being charged with one count of felony assault.

Windisch has not yet been arraigned on the charge.

When deputies arrived at the mobile home park, they found one woman seriously injured with stab wounds to her back and two men with minor injuries.

The woman, who is in her twenties, was taken to the hospital along with one of the men, also in his twenties. The third victim was treated at the scene.

The stabbing happened at Brook Haven Mobile Home Park located in the 4700 block of West River Drive around 1:15 a.m. Friday.

Authorities were able to track the suspect to a nearby home and took him into custody without incident.

Two of the men were arguing before the stabbing, according to the Kent County Sheriff’s Office.

The investigation is ongoing as police continue to interview both the victims and witnesses.

Windisch is currently in the Kent County Jail being held without bond.
