GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) – MDOT crews will begin work Friday on several road repair projects in Grand Rapids.
Initially MDOT planned to close the following ramps:
- The on ramp from Pearl Street to northbound US-131
- The ramp from northbound US-131 to eastbound I-196
However, Friday evening MDOT cancelled the ramp closures, according to a news release.
There will be a double lane closure on northbound US-131 from Franklin Street to Market Avenue starting 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.
A traffic shift with two open lanes will be in place on this section of northbound US-131.
All lanes will be open by 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 25.
