ODESSA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Three people were hurt after the garage they were in was struck by lightning Tuesday.

It happened on Clarksville Road near Tasker Road north of Lake Odessa. A surge of power went down a pole, through some wires, through the floor and into the bodies of two men and a woman.

The woman and one of the men could not move for a short time after the strike.

All three went to a Grand Rapids hospital to be checked out. None have life-threatening injuries.
