Football games raise money for causes

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Chances are that either your local football team or a team on their schedule will be hosting some type of fundraising game this season.

More schools do so each year, and in many communities they are, or are among, the biggest community events.


In our Football Frenzy Kickoff special, 24 Hour News 8’s Larry Figurski took a closer look at the growing trend and what it takes to organize a game for a cause.
