Kalamazoo United: A holy alliance


KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — For years, they called it a “holy war.” Now, it can only be described as a “holy alliance.”

When football players from Kalamazoo Christian and Hackett Catholic Central take the field on Friday, they’ll be playing on the same team for the first time.

Sometimes the best relationships are born out of necessity. Both schools were faced with the real possibility that within the next few years, they might not have enough players to field a team.

That is, until someone had a big idea.
