The outage was caused around 5 p.m. when a tree fell and damaged some power lines. It’s unknown why that tree went down.

By 10:30 p.m., power was back for everyone.

Dispatchers said traffic lights were out in the area of Michigan Avenue and Stringham Road and at the intersection of Capital Avenue and Morgan Road. Those are both busy intersections.

The outage did not affect 911 dispatch or emergency services, officials say.
