Local students design T-shirt for wounded warriors

FASHION HAS HEART

ZEELAND, Mich. (WOOD) — A few students from Zeeland West have taken on the role as a designer and developed a T-shirt to help wounded U.S. heroes.

The students are working with Fashion Has Heart, a Grand Rapids based non-profit that utilizes the power of art, design, and fashion to tell the stories of wounded veterans.

Allison Veldheer and Alyssa Collins, both students at Zeeland West, explain the project in an interview with 24 Hour News 8 above.

The t-shirt will be available for purchase during ArtPrize, as well as the Zeeland West vs. Hamilton football game on Oct. 3.
