Police: Jogger attacked by naked man

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) – Police are investigating after a woman said a naked man jumped on her while she was out jogging Thursday night in Battle Creek.

The 30-year-old woman told officers she was on a path in the area of Riverside Drive and Golden Avenue around 9:40 p.m. when the unclothed man ran up behind her and knocked her to the ground, according to a release from the Battle Creek Police Department.

The woman hit the suspect several times and he got up and ran off, heading east down the path, police said.

After the woman reported the incident, officers searched the area but found no one, according to the release.
