MORLEY, Mich. (WOOD) – Two people are recovering after their vehicle flipping several times Saturday night.

It happened around 11 p.m. on southbound US-131 near Jefferson Road in Mecosta County, west of Morley, according to deputies.

A 25-year-old Grand Rapids man, a 20-year-old woman passenger and their 2-year-old child were driving south on US-131 when he lost control and hit multiple construction barrels, deputies said.

The driver over-corrected and went off the highway, hitting an embankment before rolling over several times.

Both were taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The 2-year-old child was not injured during the crash.
