Allegiant flight from GR to Orlando makes emergency landing

GREENVILLE, S.C. (WOOD) — An Allegiant flight scheduled from Grand Rapids to Orlando-Sanford, Florida. had to make an emergency landing at the Greenville, South Carolina airport Sunday.

Flight 683 experienced a cabin pressurization issue approximately two hours after take-off.

The pilots were able to safely land the aircraft while flight attendants assisted passengers with oxygen masks and safety belts. There have been no reports of injuries.

The flight has been rescheduled to leave Greenville, South Carolina at 11:13 a.m. Sept. 1 and will arrive in Orlando-Sanford at 12:37 p.m. Monday.

Passengers will be refunded for their one-way part of the flight and will be given a $200 Allegiant voucher.
