West Michigan artist returns with featured exhibit

GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (WOOD) We’ve all heard the saying that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but some of us have a much keener eye than others. Lucky for us, those who do often create incredible works of art. Two people dedicated to great works of art are Cyndi Casemier, owner of C2C Gallery in Grand Haven and featured artist Douglas Gilbert, an award winning photographer.

C2C Gallery is a retail art gallery with a working ceramic studio located in downtown Grand Haven. It features more than 35 acclaimed Michigan artisans in ceramics, photography, paintings, glass, hand fabricated silver jewelry, hand painted scarves, wood sculpture, and textiles.

C2C is hosting a First Friday Gallery Walk on September 5 with featured artist is Douglas R. Gilbert. He is a Michigan native and is known for his photography, especially his images of a young Bob Dylan. Mr. Gilbert will be attending the First Friday event and we will be hosting his “Italian Light” exhibit for the month of September.

C2C Gallery is located at 104 Washington Avenue in Grand Haven.
