Lady Antebellum’s Allegan Co. Fair show canceled

ALLEGAN, Mich. (WOOD) — Country music band Lady Antebellum has been forced to cancel their show at the Allegan County Fair because a band member’s wife is having a baby — but there was a free Joe Nichols concert Sunday night.

Dave Haywood’s wife was hospitalized to have their baby earlier than expected, according to the Allegan County Fair. As a result, Lady Antebellum had to cancel the scheduled Sunday evening show.

Regardless, there was a concert at the fair Sunday night. Joe Nichols performed free starting at 7 p.m. The show was open to everyone.

People who bought Lady Antebllum tickets with credit card will be automatically refunded. People who paid with check or cash will have to go to the fairgrounds for a refund.
