GRPD: Walgreens robbed at knifepoint

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A northeast Grand Rapids pharmacy was robbed a knifepoint Thursday evening.

It happened around 8:50 p.m. at the Walgreens on Fuller Avenue at Michigan Street, according to the Grand Rapids Police Department.

Police say a man robbed the store at knifepoint and made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

A K-9 unit was called in to the track the robber.

Correction: An earlier version of this story said the store was robbed at gunpoint. That was incorrect.
