Survey: EGR most educated town in MI

EAST GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — East Grand Rapids is the most educated town in the state of Michigan, according to a survey.

The Business Insider put together a map from the information gathered by the American Community Survey from 2008-2012. It shows 77.5 percent of adults over the age of 25 living in East Grand Rapids have at least a bachelor’s degree.

The survey was based on places with at least 1,000 population.

Topping the list was Chevy Chase, Maryland, just outside of Washington D.C. with nearly 93 percent of the residents who have a college degree.
