SPENCER TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) – A funeral was held for Brent Luttrell Friday, the man who was shot, stabbed and left in the road to die.
At the funeral, the man who was there on Sept. 8 when Luttrell was killed shared that Luttrell fought back and it was all caught on cameras that are on his home.
“They let everyone know that the four people Brent had pushed them back outside one way or another and was fighting with them, when they shot him,” Troy Luttrell said.
Troy contacted 24 Hour News 8 Friday because he feels the only way to get justice for his nephew is with help from the public.
“These guys, when they went into their house were dressed up like SWAT people, like policemen,” Troy said.
Luttrell’s uncle says even thought they were covered from head to toe. They may have marks from Brent fighting back.
But Troy said the key to cracking the case is the red car that witnesses said the men used.
A cousin who lives next door to the victim told 24 Hour News 8 he thinks the murder was personal.
