Police need help identifying suspects in credit card fraud

NILES, Mich. (WOOD) — Police are investigating after two women used stolen credit cards to purchase items at three separate Walgreen Pharmacies.

The first incident happened at the Walgreen’s Pharmacy in Niles on August 13. Police say the two unidentified women purchased several items at the store using stolen credit cards.

An hour prior to that incident, the suspects also used stolen credit cards to buy items at the Walgreen’s Pharmacy in St. Joseph and Benton Harbor.

Authorities estimate more than $1,000 was fraudulently used.

The Niles Police Department is asking that anyone with information about the frauds or are able to identify the suspects to call the Niles Police Department Detective Bureau at 269.683.0404, or make an anonymous tip by texting 274637 keyword tipnilespd or submit their anonymous tip on line at http://www.tipsoft.com.

A cash reward is available for information leading to the arrest of the suspects.
