Power restored to GVSU after brief outage

ALLENDALE, Mich. (WOOD) — Power has been restored to the Grand Valley State University campus in Allendale after an outage earlier Friday morning, according to school officials

Consumers Energy tells us GVSU crews working on electrical equipment caused the outage at a substation on campus around 5:30 a.m.

Power was restored at 7:30 a.m. Friday and all classes are running as scheduled.
