Suspects in airsoft gun shootings arrested

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Jail records show two suspects wanted in connection to recent airsoft gun shootings in and around the city of Grand Rapids were arrested on Wednesday.

Police issued warrants for Ryan Lee Kooima, 20, and Taylor Alexander Ingram, 19, on three counts of Assault and Battery earlier that day.

Both suspects have bonded out, jail records indicate.

The Grand Rapids Police Department received complaints after a series of incidents in which people were shot by two suspects with airsoft guns on September 7 and 8.

There were no serious injuries reported and the incidents appeared to be random.
