A reception to celebrate service

Lutheran Social Services of Michigan

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) ArtPrize is a busy time in downtown Grand Rapids, so the folks at Lutheran Social Services of Michigan decided this was the perfect time to talk about what they do. They’re having an ArtPrize party on Saturday, October 11, to highlight all of their programs:

  • Adoption Services
  • Senior Subsidized Housing
  • Foster Care
  • Home Care Assistance
  • MapleCreek Senior Living
  • Refugee Services

Lutheran Social Services of Michigan is the largest faith-based social service organization in the state of Michigan. The organization spans the state’s Lower Peninsula with more than 70 programs in 44 cities.

On Saturday, October 11, they are getting together with all of their West Michigan programs for an ArtPrize reception. Bring the whole family to enjoy a variety of hands-on art projects including pine cone owls, bracelet making, and more! Refreshments will be provided.

The event will be held in the parking lot at First United Methodist Church in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids located at 207 Fulton St. E. from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, contact Megan Streng at (616) 284-5793 or ContactMC@lssm.org.
