GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) As fall temperatures start to dip, a great way to warm up is with some hot barbecue and some seasonal brews.
Memphis Smokehouse just opened on September 22 on Monroe Avenue in northwest Grand Rapids. The menu includes slow-cooked BBQ like pork and brisket, burgers, and made-from-scratch sides. Their focus is on quality food at a great price with lunch prices ranging from $8 to $10 and dinner for $10 to $15.
Nothing goes better with barbecue than a good brew! New Holland Brewing Company is expanding from the lakeshore and into Grand Rapids.
The brewery will soon expand to an area at the corner of Bridge Street NW and Broadway Avenue. The complex will include a brewery, a distillery tasting room, and a restaurant. Another part of the building will contain retail space and about 35 apartments.
The brewery is expected to open in late 2015 or early 2016. The residential and retail area should be finished by April 2016.
