HDPS investigating string of shoplifting cases

HOLLAND, Mich. (WOOD) – Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect who may be involved in a string of shoplifting cases in Ottawa, Kent, Ionia and Muskegon counties.

The thefts have occurred at area pharmacies and department stores involving one or two persons. The suspect may have stolen more than $10,000 worth of merchandise, police said.

The stolen items include dental cosmetic products, high-end razor blade kits and other cosmetic items, according to a news release.
