PAW PAW, Mich. (WOOD) — The people of Van Buren County again approved a 911 surcharge Tuesday.

The measure, which allowed the county to charge a higher $.75 per month fee for 911 services, was approved in August. But it shouldn’t have been on the ballot at the time. It was there due to a mistake.

The August results were thrown out, and the measure was put before voters again on Tuesday.

They passed it a second time.
