Boy, 10, hit and killed crossing highway

THREE RIVERS, Mich. (WOOD) — A 10-year-old boy was hit and killed while crossing a highway in Three Rivers Sunday morning.

The incident happened at around 12:30 a.m. in the 100 block of U.S. 131.

According to deputies from the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office, the boy was walking across U.S. 131 when he was struck by a vehicle.
