GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) – A group of Grand Rapids “elves” built hundreds of bikes Saturday for area children.

This is the tenth year the group called “Elves and More” got together to assemble bikes. They built 1,100 bikes on Saturday alone.

Those 1,100 bikes, along with around 400 others, and some treasure boxes will be delivered to all the kids of one Grand Rapids neighbor.

But which neighborhood is still a surprise.

Over the last nine years, the group has given 10,000 new bikes and 5,000 treasure bags of toys to all the children in the nine neighborhoods of Grand Rapids.
