Give the gift of good health this holiday

Patrick, a transplant recipient at Spectrum Health

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) A few dollars could make all the difference to a family this holiday season. It’s easy to help patients, young and old, by giving to the Spectrum Health Foundation.

One of the programs that benefits from the foundation is the Spectrum Health Blood and Marrow Transplant Program. Until the program performed its first transplant in 2013, patients had to travel to Detroit, Ann Arbor, or Traverse City for a transplant. Now patients can stay close to home and their support system for treatment from beginning until end.
