PAW PAW, Mich. (WOOD) – A 47-year-old Bangor woman has been arrested after a 6-year-old was brought to the hospital with serious injuries.
The woman has been charged with child abuse and torture, according to Michigan State Police.
Investigators didn’t release details on the child’s injuries, but say the woman could face possible life imprisonment.
Michigan Child Protective Services have removed the child from the home.
The suspect’s name will not be released until she is arraigned on Monday.
