GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — There are plenty of apps and websites available for eager kids to check in on Santa before Christmas Day.

The NORAD Tracks Santa website counts down the days, hours, minutes, and seconds until Santa departs on his flying reindeer. On Christmas Eve, they can even watch as Santa makes his journey around the globe. The website also allows kids to explore the North Pole in the days ahead of Christmas and has interactive games to occupy some of their time.

Northpole.com features games, a weather station and a look inside Santa’s mail room. Kids can even send Santa a letter and receive a response. There are also ideas for crafts, stories, and activities for parents to make this a special Christmas.

Kids will also enjoy watching the live reindeer camera. The live feed can be found on reindeercam.com or by downloading the app.
