GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — More than 3 million Michiganders are expected to head out of town this week for the holidays.
There is good news for those traveling by car — nearly 91% of people here in Michigan — as gas prices continue to fall. Monday in Spring Lake, a gallon of regular unleaded cost only $1.85. According to GasBuddy.com, prices in Grand Rapids averaged $2.06 per gallon and were still falling.

For those heading out by plane, officials at the Gerald R. Ford International Airport suggest checking the TSA website before you pack to make sure you don’t bring any prohibited items.
