Man shot in neck; police search for 3 suspects

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Rapids police are searching for three suspects who shot a man in the neck.

The shooting happened at a home on Emperor Street around 1:15 a.m. Monday.

Police said the men knocked on the victim’s door and asked for money. When they refused, the suspects began firing shots and hit one man in the neck.

He was taken to the hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
