Spectrum Health announces top 2014 baby names

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) – Spectrum Health has released its 2014 Top 10 Baby Names lists.

Olivia and Noah took first place for most popular girl and boy names, according to Spectrum Health.

This year there were several newcomers to the girl’s list from 2013, including Avery, Ella and Nora. There were also a lot of new boy names, including William, Caleb, Carter, Henry, Benjamin and Jackson.

Butterworth Hospital delivers more babies than any other hospital in Michigan with 6,777 births to date this year, according to Spectrum Health. Of that total, 3,287 were girls and 3,442 were boys.

  8. Avery
