COMSTOCK PARK, Mich. (WOOD) 2014 marks the second year in a row that Feeding America West Michigan has had a record-setting year. But efforts to help feed the hungry are far from finished.

In 2014, Feeding America West Michigan distributed more food than any year in the history of the organization. It increased its number of mobile food pantries, and was able to reach rural communities in need.

Feeding America West Michigan serves about 40 counties throughout Michigan. The need for food never stops, with even working families needing help to make ends meet. In 2015, the organization plans to focus on children with school programs and its school mobile pantry program.
