Grand Rapids house fire under investigation

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Investigators are looking into what caused a fire at a home in Grand Rapids Tuesday morning.

The fire started around 7:15 a.m. at a home in the 200 block of Valley Avenue NW, but firefighters were able to put out the flames in about ten minutes.

Dispatchers said everyone was able to make it out of the home safely.

It’s unclear how many people were inside the home when the fire started.
