Taco Bell manager robbed in Holland parking lot

HOLLAND, Mich. (WOOD) — Police in Holland are searching for a suspect who robbed a Taco Bell manager in the restaurant’s parking lot Tuesday morning.

The 18-year-old Holland woman was walking out to her vehicle with a bank deposit bag intending to head to the bank when a man pushed her and grabbed the deposit bag. The robbery happened around 10 a.m. in the parking lot of the Taco Bell restaurant, located at 1144 S. Washington Avenue.

The suspect took off on foot and a K-9 unit was able to track the suspect to the Meadow Lanes apartment complex near Business US-31.

Despite losing the track in the apartment complex, police discovered a set of fresh tire tracks on the road where the suspect’s scent was lost. It is unknown if the suspect fled in a vehicle or not.

No weapon was seen or implied during the robbery and the manager was not injured.

The suspect is described as a black male, late teens to early 20’s, about 5’9″, very thin, “bushy” hair wearing a red or maroon hooded sweatshirt and blue or gray pants.
