UNION TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A 27-year-old man from Texas was arrested in Isabella County for accosting a 14-year-old girl he had met online.
Police said Glen Stephen Timberlake had been texting and talking on the internet with the teen girl since she was 12-years-old. He had recently driven from Austin, Texas, to Mount Pleasant, Michigan.
Over the past year, their conversations and texts became sexual in nature, according to the Isabella County Sheriff’s Department.
Authorities said he sent her four separate videos that showed him committing sexual acts on himself and a dog.
When police arrested Timberlake, he was carrying a large knife in his front pants pockets. He told deputies that he was carrying the knife because he “wanted to get some answers.”
He is being held in the Isabella County Jail on a bond of $700,000 cash or surety. Timberlake is facing multiple charges including accosting a child, using a computer to accost a minor, stalking a minor, and carry a concealed weapon.
