Woman killed in Rockford-area crash ID’d

CANNON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A 51-year-old Rockford woman was killed in a single vehicle crash in Cannon Township Tuesday morning.

The crash happened around 5:20 a.m. on M-44 near Summer Meadows Drive.

A preliminary investigation indicates Dawn Marie Kasprowicz drove off the road and hit some brush and small trees, according to Michigan State Police.

Police said she possibly suffered from an unknown medical condition. Alcohol, drugs, and texting do not appear to have been factors in this crash.
