West Michigan Snowmobile Museum

CEDAR SPRINGS, Mich. (WOOD) More snow on the ground means it’s time to hit the snowmobile trails! As popular as the winter sport is, you may not know there’s a museum in West Michigan that’s entirely dedicated to snowmobiling and its history.

The West Michigan Snowmobile Museum has a collection of snowmobiles from over several decades including prototypes and racing sleds. While you’re there, browse through the Bud Knapp Library. Knapp is the first person in Michigan to be inducted to the International Snowmobile Hall of Fame.

The West Michigan Snowmobile Museum is open on Fridays and Saturdays, and also by appointment. It is open to the public, but operates on donations and memberships.
