March to honor the legacy of Dr. King

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) Monday, January 19 is a day set aside to honor the work and memory of Martin Luther King, Jr. A tradition each year on the date is the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration at Grand Rapids Community College.

This is the 29th year for the program, which includes some very special guests and activities. The keynote speaker is Sybrina Fulton, mother of Trayvon Martin. She turned her grief into advocacy and is inspiring people across the country to love and understand one another.
