Not your average thrift shop

Furniture at guiding light thrift store

KENTWOOD, Mich. (WOOD) Everyone loves to save money. There’s a place in West Michigan that could save you a bundle – and you may not even know about it.

The Guiding Light Upscale Thrift Store is a different experience than your average thrift store. It has gently used and brand new items including clothing, household items, toys, books, furniture, and even new mattresses. Many of the items and brand name.

All of the money from the thrift shop supports Guiding Light Mission. The Mission takes men off the street and gives them a place to stay, meals, and programs to help get them back to work.
