More Community Events Surrounding MLK Day

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich (WOOD) — If you missed any of the community events around West Michigan celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day, there are still two events taking place.

Tuesday, Jan. 20 events:

– Albion College will host its annual Martin Luther King. Jr. Convocation and Community Celebration at the Bohm Theatre at 7 p.m. The keynote speaker will be Ruth Scott.

– The Davenport University Lettinga Campus will host a speech by Trayvon Martin’s mother Sybrina Fulton starting at 10 a.m.
