Michael Moore, Seth Rogen banned from local restaurant

WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) – A sign outside of Brann’s in Wyoming is getting reaction from passersby and customers.

It reads, “Michael Moore and Seth Rogen are NOT allowed in my place.”

The sign was put up by the restaurant’s owner, Tommy Brann, after the men made negative comments about the movie “American Sniper.”

The movie is based on the life of a U.S. Navy Seal, Chris Kyle who had 160 confirmed kills, making him the deadliest sniper in U.S. history.

“For 43 years I’ve been a small business man because of the Chris Kyles of the world and I have a right to not serve the Michael Moores and the Seth Rogens,” Brann said. “That guy (Chris Kyles) is an American hero.”

Last week, film maker Michael Moore tweeted an opposing opinion.

Actor Seth Rogen tweeted that it reminded him of a Nazi propaganda movie.

Brann read the tweets, and decided to make his own statement which now hangs above Division Street.

“If Michael Moore comes in here with a party of two, party of 40, I’ll take the 38, but he’s not getting served,” said Brann

He also says the same goes for Rogen.
