CASCADE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Travelers may notice some new amenities at the Gerald R. Ford International Airport.
The airport is hosting a ribbon cutting Wednesday morning to reveal the newly remodeled and expanded Concourse B Terminal.
The terminal has a fresh look, with new flooring, remodeled restrooms and extra seating areas.
There’s also murals depicting windmills, tulips and other scenes from around West Michigan.
The Concourse B Terminal now offers a bar, as the new MI Tap Room officially opened in September, serving food and drinks from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
The new Grand Rapids Magazine Travel Store is across from the MI Tap Room, with a focus on Michigan-based products.
